Concrete Supervisor is responsible for and report activities to Head of Laboratory regarding the implementation of concrete testing, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the agreed-upon testing methods and standards.
To implement the laboratory management system for all laboratory testing activities;
To supervise technicians and data analysts in conducting concrete testing;
To monitor the implementation of concrete testing to ensure compliance with the testing methods;
To verify the accuracy of concrete testing data;
To coordinate the implementation of internal quality assurance for ensuring the validity of results, including participation in proficiency testing/interlaboratory comparison programs, and to conduct investigations into any unsatisfactory outcomes;
To develop, modify, verify, and/or validate the testing methods and to evaluate testing measurement uncertainty within the concrete scope;
To provide statements of conformity, opinions, or interpretations of testing results when required;
To monitor the implementation of equipment maintenance and calibration programs.
To draft testing reports for concrete parameter testing;
To establish and manage factors that affect the validity and reliability of tests, including facility and environmental conditions, testing methods, metrological traceability, and the handling of testing items;
To authotize the suspension or continuation of concrete testing when non-conforming work is identified;
To delegate his/her duties and responsibilities to a designated concrete technician in the event of his/her absence.
